Thesis Plan
The overall plan is to do what is listed in the aims and objectives. This section only states the timetable for the work and how this timetable was devised and why certain deadlines must exist, and will also include a skeleton plan of what the thesis will include. As such this section is split into three parts:
Preliminary skeleton plan of thesis content - This shall act as a preliminary contents plan of what the thesis will include, it will be very similar to what is proposed in the aim and objectives, and shall link to the aims objectives which suggest how each stage of the plan can be completed in detail.
Gantt chart - This is a timetable of the work to be done and it is based off of the aims and objectives which need to be completed, it is done in terms of weeks instead of days as trying to predict when parts of the project will be finished to the day over such a large time scale is impractical.
State reasons for key deadlines of the project - Will justify the times proposed in the Gantt, this section is important as without this is seems as if there is no reasoning or thought put into the times proposed. And it is also important to understand why those times exist in case they need to be changed in the future
